I finally did it. Dropped my last two DVDs into a mailbox on the way to work this mourning.

2 discs of the British show "SPACED", partially watched. Kept for an unconscionable amount of time.

End of an era.

I felt I should mark the passing of our house cat, Gotham.

How old was she? 14? 16? I don't know.

I took care of her for long stretches. I hadn't been keeping track of her toward the end. She spent one night at the vet's. Then she was brought home to die the next day. Sounds like she had a liver infection.

I saw her that last night, curled up on the floor with the roommate. She hadn't been eating and looked super fragile.

Gotham has a posse.
