Chester Bennington Has a Posse

I don't have many friend who were fans of their music but they made a few albums I listened to a lot — what seems like a lifetime ago now.

He was my age.

He had a wife and kids. Certainly had way more success in his career than I ever had. On paper at least, way more to live for than I've got.

And he took his own life.



Sometimes I feel like I took a time-out from life and I'm still in this strange empty zone. Outside of time. Watching other people live their lives from a distance. Raising children, planning for the future. While I'm still trying to get my fire back. Living for new STAR WARS movies. Episodes of tv shows I like.

I feel numb. Which isn't the worst feeling, really. The waters are calm and quiet here.
